Moving from Marfa to Salt Lake City was an undertaking. We had a 26 foot truck and I drove separately with Truman. Since the move itself was expensive we decided to camp along the way to keep other costs down. Since temperatures were already climbing, Zach chose a state park with decent elevation near Grants, New Mexico: Bluewater Lake State Park.
We were able to use the primitive camping area by the lake with no problem. We parked the truck and car together and pitched our tent in-between. We enjoyed the evening and took a walk around before settling in. I’m sure it was a strange sight.
