On Saturday night we were out in Seoul with the new foreign teachers at our school and we decided to check out the Lantern Festival.
It’s held at Cheonggyecheon Stream – which Zach and I visited previously during the day in this post. It reminded me of the Trail of Lights in Austin. There were food tents lining the street above the stream and plenty of light up wands, headbands, and other paraphernalia. It was a nice cold night to be out walking around unfortunately everyone else had the same idea. It was very crowded by the stream so we decided to stay above and observe the lanterns from a slight distance.
